Service provided
Simply Married Online schedules and conducts live video marriage ceremonies through an officiant who is authorized to solemnize marriages in Utah and physically present in Utah during the ceremony. Utah County—not Simply Married Online—issues the marriage license, maintains the marriage record, and provides official certificates and related documents.
Before you book
You are responsible for obtaining a valid, unexpired Utah County marriage license before the ceremony and sending the digital license link through the county’s approved process. Both partners and two witnesses age 18 or older must attend the live video ceremony and must be able to see and hear one another in real time.
You are also responsible for confirming whether a remote-appearance Utah marriage and its documents will be accepted by every country, agency, employer, benefits administrator, religious body, or other authority where you plan to use them. We provide general information, not legal advice, and do not guarantee recognition outside Utah or for immigration purposes.
Prices and third-party fees
An Online Wedding costs $99 when the couple provides both required adult witnesses. The price is $199 when Simply Married Online provides both required adult witnesses. A valid Utah County marriage license is required before the ceremony. Any future services, upgrades, or promotional prices apply only when they are specifically displayed and available in the booking system.
The price shown in the booking system at checkout controls the purchase.
Utah County marriage-license charges, transaction fees, certified copies, shipping, apostilles, authentications, translations, and other third-party services are not included in the ceremony price and are controlled by their respective providers.
Scheduling and punctuality
Your appointment is reserved only after the booking system confirms it. Appointment times are shown in the time zone displayed during booking. Join early enough to confirm that your camera, microphone, speakers, identification, witnesses, and license information are ready. If required participants or documents are unavailable, the ceremony may need to be rescheduled.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. To qualify for a ceremony-fee refund, we must receive your cancellation request before the scheduled ceremony time. No ceremony-fee refund is available once the scheduled time arrives or after the ceremony has been completed.
Rescheduling
You may request a new appointment before the ceremony. New dates and times are subject to availability. If you change to a differently priced service, you must pay any increase; any eligible decrease will be handled through the original payment method.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method. Processing time is determined by the payment processor and your financial institution. County and other third-party fees are governed by those providers and are not refunded or controlled by Simply Married Online.
Technology and interruptions
A valid remote ceremony requires a live connection that allows the officiant, both partners, and both witnesses to see and hear one another. If a technical failure prevents those requirements from being met, the officiant will not complete the ceremony until the connection is restored or the appointment is rescheduled.
Accurate information
You are responsible for providing accurate names, license information, contact information, participant details, and scheduling information. Contact Utah County before the ceremony if information on the marriage license appears incorrect.
