Can international couples get married online through Utah?
Many eligible couples can. The couple applies directly through Utah County, completes the county’s identity process, attends a live online ceremony in English with two adult witnesses, and the officiant submits the completed marriage information electronically.

County processes the record
Your officiant submits the completed information; Utah County then processes the marriage record.
Utah County states that there is no waiting period and a license must be used within 32 days of issuance. Always confirm current requirements on the official Utah County Marriage Office website.

What language is the live ceremony?+
All live Simply Married Online ceremonies are conducted in English. The translated guides explain the process but do not provide a translated ceremony.
Who provides the witnesses?+
Two witnesses age 18 or older are required. You may choose the package where the couple provides both witnesses or the package where Simply Married Online provides both.
Does Simply Married Online issue the marriage license?+
No. You apply directly with Utah County. Simply Married Online is an independent ceremony service that provides the authorized Utah-based officiant and submits the completed information after the ceremony.
